Hey Michael - Loved this piece. I've been feeling much the same way. Some of my exploration is having dedicated time to move through the city with a different energy. If I'm going from A to B on a busy day, I have my head down and tuning out the challenging things I hear and see in the city. But on other days, I walk slowly. I go to breathwork, I take my time, I don't look at my phone, I don't put on my headphones (or if I do, really listen to the music as it holds space for my feelings as I walk familiar streets), I take a few moments to smile or talk to strangers. Some days the city feels like an intense race, and other days it's the backdrop to a practice of slow, and intentional curiosity. I have no idea if that's any kind of answer, but it helps me - even if it's not every day. Sending hugs!
