This gave me some very cool spin off thoughts. Have you heard of Iain Mcgilchrists work on left and right brain hemispheres? I see a coherence between that work and this idea of non-doing.

When you talk of just catching a ball it reminds me of learning to rollerskate on ramps. So much of learning to do it is un-learning wrong patterns. When you first drop into the bowl, as you go forward your brain thinks you are falling and tries to correct by leaning backwards, which ends in a backwards body slam. To land the drop in all you have to do is lean forward and stop yourself from correcting what your brain thinks it needs to correct! It's magic. It's meditative and has helped me go into a flow state I seldom have.
